Diabetes Account Manager

Our client provides innovative care to patients at vulnerable points in their lives; patient safety is at the forefront of what they do, providing high-quality healthcare products and services that ensure patients feel safe and guarded.

The Diabetes Account Manager will be responsible for securing agreed sales revenue and growth within their territory through selling, account management, training and customer support.

Diabetes Account Manager Main Duties:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for territory
  • Achieve territory sales growth in line with the target
  • Positively contribute to national sales and portfolio sales targets
  • Run monthly update sessions with NSM, Clinical Trainers and other colleagues, where relevant
  • Establish product portfolio within targeted clinics
  • Identify and develop relationships with key contacts within the Diabetes therapeutic area
  • Maintain up to date understanding of NHS environment and industry changes and attending training sessions where required

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a Science or health-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Diabetes and NHS healthcare within the UK
  • Proven experience successfully managing and securing sales growth within a designated territory
  • A customer-oriented individual who is passionate about providing outstanding service
  • A team player with strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
