Star OUTiCO is recruiting for a Medical Affairs Advisor! Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company; committed to improving the health and futures of people worldwide through market-leading, innovative medicines.
The successful candidate will be in charge of leading the medical input into the brand strategic & tactical plans and providing local country field-based support from the medical function in order to achieve company goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Management of systems and processes
- Facilitate clinical research activities to assist the development of marketed products
- Maintain and QC product information reviewed within Medical Affairs
- Provide medical advice/input into creating procedures governed by regulations or legislation
- Act as nominated medical signatory within the businesses approval mechanism
- Provide ongoing training and development activities to fulfil departmental goals and objectives
- Develop, maintain and optimise relationships with customers by establishing strong relationships with KOLs and other key influencers
- Contribute to the review/sign off of medical information enquiries, promotional and non-promotional materials and activities
- Have & maintain a thorough understanding of the IPHA Code of Practice
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Qualified Physician Medical Degree
- Experience and expertise in Rare Diseases
- Capable of solving complex issues
- Previous pharmaceutical experience in a Medical Affairs setting
- Previous success working with marketing departments to create and execute new strategies for promoted products
- Previous experience providing medical support to other functions such as Regulatory, Quality etc.
